Cindi, better to encourage politicians to engage with the problem and converse with the economic migrants to work towards finding a solution.

Can you imagine fleeing your homeland, abandoning your family, paying a fortune to be locked under the deck of an unseaworthy vessel, then cast adrift, without navigation (let alone food and water), onto a stormy ocean?

Until rescued ... for what ...?
