Who’s to blame?

ANYONE reading Councillor Marian Ayres’s letter (Gazette, February 2) could be misled into believing she was an independent councillor. She appears to be lecturing us all on the dangers of divisions between various organisations including political parties and churches. She also claims “we are all to blame” for the current economic/social state of affairs.

It was no surprise therefore to discover that she is, in fact, a Conservative councillor, a fact she omitted from her letter, and she is clearly supporting the Con-Lib coalition cuts, albeit in a disguised manner.

And just precisely, Mrs Ayres, why am I (and many other local residents) to blame for the current crisis we all face?
