PEACEHAVEN WI: I am glad to say that the appalling weather did not prevent our loyal members, and one visitor, from attending the March meeting. After an excellent ploughman’s lunch it was down to business, deciding on arrangements for the September outing and the forthcoming annual Federation Meeting on April 9. Mr D Allen was our afternoon speaker, which was about the making of Rebecca, a film of the 1940’s. What could have been a mediocre talk was brought to life by his dramatic presentation and also reminded us of the great films of the past.

Our next meeting is April 6, which should appeal to any fans of Sherlock Holmes. See you then. (Joy Allen).
