Anti-lockdown protest held in Brighton – video
An anti-lockdown march and protest was held in Brighton on Saturday.
The march, organised by Save Our Rights UK, set off from the peace statue at 1pm.
People could be seen waving placards reading ‘No to mandatory vaccines’ and ‘No masks’.
Police said the protest took place ‘without significant incident’ and said no arrests were made.
“A protest which took place in Brighton on Saturday (May 8) concluded without significant incident,” a spokesman said.
“Police engaged with protesters throughout the afternoon and there were no arrests connected to the protest.
“Some temporary disruption was caused to traffic in the city centre, and we would like to thank the public for their patience and understanding.”
