Body found in search for missing Sussex man

Police said 48-year-old Stuart Cooper was reported missing on Sunday morning (June 14).

Formal identification has yet to take place, but a body found in Ashdown Forest yesterday (Wednesday, June 17) is sadly believed to be that of Mr Cooper, from Eastbourne.

Police said his next of kin have been informed and the matter has been passed to the coroner’s officer.
