Led by Tessa Denison from her Chiddingfold home, Think18 has embraced the challenges of lockdown since last March to provide virtual activities and moved all its face-to-face activities online.
Tessa said: “I am so proud of how our members have transitioned to using Zoom and the support they provide to each other.

Starting with just one Zoom session a week, the charity now holds eight weekly events, including: ThinkDance, ThinkDrama, ThinkSing, ThinkArt, ThinkHealth, ThinkDrumFit and the most popular session, Virtual Drinks.
During Virtual Drinks members ‘hang out’ with their friends and catch up on their news, or take a ‘spotlight’ and showcase a skill/talent such as singing a song or performing a magic trick.
Last year Grammy winner Nicola Benedetti made a guest appearance and played the violin, while this year an artist hosted a virtual art exhibition of his work made from recycled materials.

A message from the Editor, Gary Shipton:
In order for us to continue to provide high quality and trusted local news, I am asking you to please purchase a copy of our newspapers.
With the coronavirus lockdown having a major impact on many of our local valued advertisers - and consequently the advertising that we receive - we are more reliant than ever on you helping us to provide you with news and information by buying a copy of our newspapers.
Our journalists are highly trained and our content is independently regulated by IPSO to some of the most rigorous standards in the world. But being your eyes and ears comes at a price. So we need your support more than ever to buy our newspapers during this crisis.
Stay safe, and best wishes.
