Hassocks garden centre welcomes prize-winning youngsters
South Downs Nurseries welcomed the two girls, who were presented with toys and games.
Emily-Mai Martin, who is five and from Hassocks, went with dad Sean to the garden centre to collect prizes – not only for herself but for her four-year-old cousin, Max O’Neill.

Hide AdThe pair entered a contest run at the family-run garden centre throughout the Christmas holiday.
Entrants had to follow clues to find eight of Santa’s Elves hiding throughout the Brighton Road business.
Also victorious in the garden centre’s festive fun was four-year-old Nancy Nutley, who won the colouring competition staged in the centre’s coffee shop.
