Motorcyclist 'seriously injured' after A259 collision on Worthing roundabout

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on the A259 near Worthing on Wednesday (July 12), Sussex Police has said.

Emergency services were called to the Goring Crossroads roundabout on the A259 at 8.52pm, following reports of the collision.

A Sussex Police spokesperson added: “A 35-year-old motorcyclist from Worthing had fallen from his machine and sustained serious injuries.

“The road was closed while the incident was dealt with and reopened around 11.30pm.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam video from the area at the time is asked to report online or call 101 quoting serial 1538 of 12/07.”
