Manager of Team Extreme Doug Peel, who will also MC on the day, said they aim ‘to bring extreme sports to the eyes of the general public’.

He said: “Team Extreme is unique in that we have a ‘Mix of Wheels’ with BMX, scoot riders, skateboarding and inline skating.

“Our event at Brighton Marina will be the first of the season and it will be the first time that the riders have seen each other since last year, so the atmosphere will be electric.

“The riders love coaching the kids who come to watch them so if any of them want to give it a go, we will kit them out in pads and helmets and we will work at the level of the individual so there is no pressure. Rollerbladers are welcome if they have their own skates.”
