Tributes to Brighton LGBT champion and GScene editor James Ledward

Tributes have been paid to a Brighton LGBT champion and GScene editor after his sudden death.

James Ledward died on Thursday (October 3) after a short illness, according to GScene magazine.

In a tribute, the publication said, “James was a kind and passionate advocate of all members of our widening communities and will be missed by all who knew him.

“His family request that theirs and James’ privacy be respected at this difficult time.”

Details of Mr Ledward’s funeral arrangements will follow.

GScene magazine has been published for LGBT communities in Brighton and Hove and beyond for 25 years.
