Pett and Pett Level

Pett WI: members of Pett WI were captivated by the flower arrangements of Jude Robertson on Friday October 17. Her stunning designs ranged from the seemingly simple to complex and certainly left members inspired to be a little more adventurous!

Fairlight End Photography: don’t forget that the garden and studio will be open again this weekend between 11am and 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday October 24, 25 & 26.

Church Services: on Sunday October 26 – Holy Communion, Richard Barron, Pett Church at 9:30am; Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Halloween Bonfire: Don’t forget the annual Halloween event will take place at Pett Village Hall on Sunday October 26 from 6:30pm. There will fun and games, fancy dress, BBQ and mulled wine.

Village Choir: On Monday October 27 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.

Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday October 28 POPP will feature Annie Cryer with Tai Chi. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Mobile Library: On Wednesday October 29 the Mobile Library will be in Pett and Pett Level. It will start at the Church at 10.10am, moving on to Chick Hill at 10:50am and finishing at The Smuggler at 11.20am.

Craft Fair: All crafters are welcome to the Craft Fair that is being held in Pett Village Hall on Saturday November 22 from 10am to 3pm. Tables are just £12 so please book early and contact Jeannette 01424 814717.

Employment Advice: The Rye Partnership and The Rural Battle Employability Project are hosting an Information & Access to Employment Morning on Thursday October 30. It is being held at Battle Memorial Hall from 9:30am to 12:30pm. If you are interested in work, training, self-employment or business start-up opportunities, why not go along and see what’s available locally?
