A fire engine was sent to Hassocks last night (Wednesday, October 5) following reports of a burning motorcycle.
A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire & Rescue Service said they responded to ‘a small vehicle fire at London Road, Hassocks’ at 8.09pm.
They said: “Joint Fire Control sent one fire engine from Burgess Hill to the scene. Upon arrival firefighters found one motorbike and nearby bushes alight. Crews used one hose reel and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and left the scene at around 8.45pm.”
