PLANNING: Green gains if new house is approved

ENERGY efficiency features including solar panels for water heating, triple glazing, ventilation heat recovery and high-level insulation are proposed in plans for a replacement house on a private estate at East Preston.

The owners of Shore House, in Seafield Road, want to demolish their home and build a ‘contemporary family home’ with an integral garage on the site, with a larger first floor than at present.

The plans are in the latest list of applications submitted to Arun District Council this week in the Gazette area:
