COFFEE MORNING: The coffee morning tomorrow, Saturday, at Polegate Community Centre, is hosted by the Conservatives. All welcome in the lounge at 10am to noon.

Bus 98 from Eastbourne stand H to Church Street, Willingdon then walk up to Butts Lane at start. On Wednesday, Seaford’s Best View, 4 miles with Angela F. Meet at the Avenue 9.30am walk starts at South Hill Barn, Seaford, 10am GR 505930. Dry lunch.

MEN’S SOCIETY: The next meeting is on Monday February 8 when our speaker is Rev David Maddox with a Lenten message. Held at St Johns Church, Polegate from 3pm, tea at 2.30pm. Coffee morning held on the second Friday of the month at 10am to 11.30pm.

LOCAL HISTORY: Polegate and Willingdon Local History Society next meet on Friday February 19, when our speaker is Brian Holford talking about the history of the Spa Valley Railway. Meetings are held in St Johns Church Hall. Doors open at 6.30pm, meeting starts at 7pm.
