Police appeal following motorists' row in Battle

Police are seeking witnesses after two motorists got into a heated row in Battle town centre.

A 69-year-old man was driving a silver Mercedes-Benz estate car westbound near Battle Abbey when he became involved in an altercation with another man, also believed to be in his 60s, who was driving a dark blue Volkswagen Sharan people carrier.

It happened at around 3.45pm on Tuesday January 19, but police have only just released information about the incident.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen what happened, particularly as the town was busy with both traffic and pedestrians at the time.

Information can be emailed to [email protected] or phoned through to 101, quoting serial 1121 of 19/01.
