Police concerned for missing Brighton man, 77

Police say they are concerned for a missing 77-year-old Brighton man.

John Michael Webber was last seen on Thursday (April 13) at his home in Clifton Hill at 2pm. According to Sussex Police, he said he was going to North Street, Brighton, to his bank but did not return home at 5pm for dinner.

Inspector David Robinson said: “This is out of character for John and we are concerned about him. He is on foot and mobile for his age.

“Officers are making enquiries about him in the city centre but we would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or has any information of his whereabouts.”

John is white, 6ft, with short white hair, brown eyes and was wearing a red jumper, trousers and a brown canvas jacket.
