Plans to be revealed for 200 homes in Brighton

Initial proposals for the redevelopment of Longley Industrial Estate are to be exhibited to the public next week.

Local employer Legal & General is the developer and owner of the site on New England Street, offering long-term leases on more than 200 new homes and around 3,000sqm of workspace for small businesses.

A spokesman for Legal & General said: “We are excited to be exhibiting our emerging plans for the Longley Industrial Estate in Brighton’s New England Quarter, delivering new homes and jobs for the city.

“We look forward to meeting local people, listening to feedback, and answering questions on our initial proposals.”

Two exhibitions will be held:

Thursday, March 22 from 4pm to 7pm at Jury’s Inn, 101 Stroudley Road, Brighton, BN1 4DJ

Saturday, March 24 from 11am to 2pm at Brighthelm Church and community centre, North Road, Brighton, BN1 1YD.
