Remembrance events in Brighton and Hove

Brighton and Hove will remember the fallen this weekend with memorial events across the city.

A two-minute silence will be observed on Armistice Day (Saturday) at Hove War Memorial on Grand Avenue, and at the War Memorial at Old Steine, Brighton at 11am.

At 9am on Sunday, a Remembrance Service by The Royal Sussex Regimental Association will take place in Regency Square.

A parade from Madeira Drive will arrive at Old Steine War Memorial for a service and wreath laying ceremony at 11am.

In Portslade, a march from St. Nicholas School to the Easthill Park will take place at 10.30am on Sunday, before a wreath laying and service.

And in Rottingdean, there will be a parade up the High Street to the Village Green at 11.40am for a service at the War Memorial at midday.
