Road in Rye closed after car ends up in canal
A road in Rye was closed for some time after a car ended up in the canal.
According to the AA, Military Road was shut from Houghton Lane to Knock Hill on Tuesday (January 28) because of the collision involving a single vehicle.
The incident was first reported just after 4pm.
Emergency services were called to the scene.
The road was reopened later that evening.
