Rye B&B receives prestigious award

Saltcote Place Rye has been honoured with the prestigious Stellar Stays award by Hotels Combined, as an official recognition of quality and customer satisfaction.

Saltcote already boasts a host of accolades for excellence and owners Paul and Alan acknowledge the significance of these awards and the importance and value customers place on them.

“We are really thrilled to get it,” they said.

“The consumer is often led by reviews and it is a pleasure to receive them, it says more about our guest than it does about us.”

Receiving this award indicates that Saltcote received better reviews than 97 per cent of hotels worldwide.

Scoring 9.97/10 it was first amongst the best properties in East Sussex.

Paul and Alan pride themselves in providing an experience that is all about the customer.

“A few days away at the right place can make all the difference,” they said.

“Saltcote Place works because our guests arrive with a smile and often leave as friends.

“At Saltcote it has long been our intention to offer more of an experience than simply a place to sleep, we enjoy what we do, and with smaller numbers of guests we have the time to focus on the important issues such as our guests.”

Channelling their love of hospitality Paul and Alan have also started providing a wedding service.

Hosting less than 12 a year they are committed to giving customers the time and dedication needed for an ‘unforgettable’ experience.

Paul an MD of a group of software companies added: “Planning events all follow the same processes, whether it is a conference or a wedding they both involve people and detail, the difference is a wedding is all about fun, we must never lose sight of the fun.”

Their pair’s passion is tangible.
