African walk: Local GP Clive Dewing is back from walking the Roof of Africa for the charity Starfish Malawi. Clive’s target was to raise £2,000 by trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Football: It is a long way to go until the end of the season but the two village football sides are not best placed. The Division 1 side is 7th in the league and the Division 6 side are 8th,

Jumble Sale: The primary school is to hold a jumble sale in the school hall on November 8 from 10am - 12 noon. All donations are welcome. For more information, or to donate items, call 07971 836905.

Friendship Club: The Friendship Club had a most successful cake and boot sale stall at the village fete raising approximately £240 for funds. Thank you to all those who bake and helped out on the day.

Toddler Group: Little Rainbows is a free to use toddlers group which takes place every Friday at Sandhurst Baptist Church from 9.30am - 11.30am. For more information call Liz on 01580 850446.
