Students on strike: Crowds turn out for climate march in Brighton

Hundreds of schoolchildren and university students from Brighton and Hove have gathered for a march over climate change in the city.

Students from local schools and universities have downed tools and gathered at the Clock Tower ahead of a march through the city this morning (February 15)..

They want the Government to declare a climate emergency, the ‘ecological crisis’ included in the National Curriculum, and for the voting age be lowered to 16.
