Students win arts awards

They have been helped by an arts enrichment activity led by teacher Clare Summons.

The new scheme is an arts equivalent of the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and the summer saw students visited by HRH Prince Edward.

The extra-curricular initiative saw students taking part in arts activities and writing a bout their experiences, learning leadership skills and putting them into practice, writing about a personal hero and attending an arts event.

All students have opted to work towards their silver award.
