Surgery staff line up for another Bognor Prom 10k

Thirteen runners from surgeries in Yapton and Middleton will be lining up at this year's Bognor Prom10k road race.

The staff, patients and supporters of the Avisford Medical Group will be taking part to raise money for the Friends of the Surgery supporters.

They hope to provide extra equipment and facilities for patient care at the group's premises of the Yew Tree Surgery in North End Road and the Middleton Medical Centre in Elmer Road.

Among those running in the May 20 race will be practice manager Jerry Nelson. He has happily filled out his race entry form in spite of saying '˜never again' after his last run. Some team members got some recent practice for the big day by joining in the three Chichester Corporate Challenge races as part of their training.

Any sponsorship donations can be made to the reception staff at both surgeries.
