An exit slip road from the A27 at Shoreham has reopened – six weeks after it was closed for urgent repairs

The slip road, which takes westbound drivers off the A27 flyover just before the traffic lights at Shoreham Airport, had to be closed at the beginning of May. It followed an incident on the slip road exit when a vehicle collided with the barrier.

National Highways said the long repair time allowed for the manufacture and fitting of a bespoke barrier.

It will be good news for drivers, as the slip road’s closure was causing daily traffic jams.
