In pictures: Car crashes into wall in East Sussex village

The black BMW was seen in the High Street in Alfriston parked by the side of the road with scrapes along the passenger side.

Sussex Police attended the scene and blocked off the car with cones to prevent traffic disruption.

Sussex Police said officers responded to reports ‘of a vehicle colliding with shop fronts’ on High Street, Alfriston, around 1.55pm on Thursday (October 12).

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: "One person suffered a minor injury.

"The road was blocked temporarily while recovery of the vehicle was arranged.”
