Part of the A273 from Hassocks to Burgess Hill was blocked this morning (Wednesday, November 16), according to AA Traffic News.

At about 9.45am the AA said its sensors confirmed the road was ‘impassable’ after reports of a crash involving three cars.

The road was affected both ways between B2036 London Road and the Friars Oak Pub.

The road is now clear but it is not known at this time whether anyone has been injured.

Sussex Police have been approached for comment.
