The AA also reports slow traffic due to extra traffic heading towards the coast on A2100 Junction Road Eastbound between Stonebeach Rise and B2093 The Ridge in St Leonards, as well as traffic avoiding the closure of Battle Road due to roadworks.

Also in St Leonards there is congestion on B2093 The Ridge Eastbound at Chowns Hill in the construction area. There are temporary traffic lights causing delays.

The road is partially blocked with slow traffic due to a stalled van on B2036 Harvest Hill both ways near Cuckfield Road between Burgess Hill and the A272. The van is reported to have broken down on a bend, the AA said.

There is also slow traffic and traffic heavier than normal on A27 Upper Brighton Road Westbound before A24 Broadwater Street West (Grove Lodge Roundabout). On approach to the roundabout.
