*Next Wednesday, July 18, the Parish Council will be meeting in St Mary’s Community Hall at 6.30pm. The business they discuss concerns us all, so do come along to keep in touch with what’s going on, staying for as long or as short a time as you like. Neither of our local government representatives was able to be at the last meeting: at least one of them should be present this time, to answer our questions.

A reminder that we still enjoy the services of our wonderful mobile library, which we need to use as much as possible if it’s to have any chance of surviving the current round of cuts. Its next visit will be next Friday, July 20, at the usual times: Lower Cross from 10.15 to 10.40am, and the Hall from 10.55 to 11.15am
