Sussex weather outlook: Summer set to return later in week

It is set to be a drier and warmer day today (Sunday, July 26) across Sussex.

The Met Office said Sussex will see a mostly sunny start to the day, with cloud building up during the morning.

There will be warm or very warm sunny spells in the afternoon and a scattering of showers, which will mainly be in the north and west.

The Met Office said it will be rather breezy, with a maximum temperature of 24°C.

Tonight any remaining showers will ease off, leaving a dry evening with clear spells.

There are, however, expected to be outbreaks of rain later in the night.

The minimum temperature is set to be 13°C.

Tomorrow (Monday, July 27) will be mostly cloudy during the morning with a breeze and occasional rain.

There will be righter and warmer in some eastern districts early afternoon, the Met Office said, but further rain likely into the evening.

The maximum temperature is expected to be 23°C.

Sunny spells are expected on Tuesday (July 28) with it staying dry.

Wednesday (July 29) is expected to be dry with bright with sunny spells and light winds.

The Met Office said the weather will be similar on Thursday (July 30) but with more sunshine and feeling warmer.
