X Factor stars visit Brighton learning disabilities charity Team Domenica

Young people with learning disabilities at Brighton-based charity Team Domenica received a visit from four of the X Factor stars this week.

Singers from the show including Brendan Murray, Shan, Acacia and Aaliyah were on hand to take photographs and sign autographs at the charity’s training café - Café Domenica.

Team Domenica help young adults with learning disabilities find and retain meaningful employment.

They performed hit songs “Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber and “Run” covered by the former X Factor winner Leona Lewis.

And Team Domenica candidate Bradley received a birthday surprise as the X factor group led a stirring rendition of Happy Birthday

As they left, Domenica, the charity's namesake, said: “This is a day to remember.”

Lara, another of the charity's candidates, said it made her feel ‘famous and important’.
