She had the life-threatening condition pre-eclampsia and doctors at Brighton delivered Taylor by Caesarean section.

Tracy and her partner Paul now have a healthy two-year-old daughter Ebony, but says her son will never be forgotten.

"Taylor is still very much a part of our lives. We talk about him to Ebony and there are pictures of him all over.

"Taylor was born the day after I was admitted to hospital because my blood pressure was high. It happened so quickly.

"I was in total shock. I had had a Caesarean but in the whole 10 days I was in hospital I never had any painkillers. All I can say is that my mind was numb.

"He was born on March 4 and died on March 14 and it was Mother s Day right in the middle. I was pleased we were able to celebrate my first mother s day with Taylor.

"I only held Taylor once, he was linked to all sorts of machines. Only when he died were we able to hold him properly. We held him for the whole day.

"It took a long time to accept what happened - over a year. It was a total feeling of misery. There were many months of crying.

Tracy s advice to the Browns is what she too was told as she struggled to come to terms with Taylor s death: just be there for each other because you need each other s support.

"Accept whatever support you are offered. And talk about it as much as possible."
