You can now get Dishoom's famous bacon naan rolls delivered to your door - here's how to order
Popular restaurant chain Dishoom has recently launched its first at-home cookery kit, providing customers across much of the UK with the ingredients (and the know-how) to create the Irani cafe’s much-loved bacon naan rolls in their own kitchen.
What’s in the kit?
Fans of the breakfast classic can get the ingredients to create two bacon naan rolls - sent from the cafe kitchens direct to their door - including dough balls that are ready to roll, bake, assemble and eat.
Every order will also contain the requisite tea and spices to brew a batch of Dishoom’s Masala Chai, allowing budding cooks to partake in the full Dishoom experience at home.
Each kit serves two and contains smoked streaky bacon from Ramsay of Carluke (matured in the traditional Ayrshire way and smoked over applewood and beechwood chips), three naan doughballs (enough for two plus a spare for experimentation), and tomato-chilli jam (Dishoom’s sweet, sharp, spicy signature sauce), as well as fresh coriander and cream cheese.
The kit comes with full cookery instructions, including the method for achieving soft naan rolls. A handy video to help first-timers will also be available online.
For every bacon naan roll kit sold, Dishoom will donate a meal to Magic Breakfast, its long-term charity partner that provides free, nutritious meals to children that might otherwise go hungry.
How to order
The bacon naan roll kits, priced at £16, are now available to order for nationwide, nominated day delivery across the UK mainland (excluding the Scottish Highlands).
Deliveries can be booked up to one month in advance via the Dishoom website.
