Fry is out to pan his man in Southampton boxing extravaganza

The all-action scrapper from Chichester boxes on the Blood, Sweat and Drama at Club Oceana show at the popular Southampton nightclub on Saturday, March 26, when home-town fighters Matty Tew, Jon Fernandes and Darryl Still aim to take another step towards title fights.

Fry has similar ambitions and the 20-year-old is convinced he can put a tough start to his professional career behind him and go on to challenge for bantamweight belts.

Fry is convinced he’s heading for the top and plans to send out a message to his bantamweight rivals by bashing Britain’s toughest journeyman.

Delroy Spencer from Walsall has had more than 100 fights and Fry said: “I’m planning to make a statement by knocking him out.

“That would shock a lot of people and get them talking about me. Delroy doesn’t get stopped very often, but I know I can hit hard enough to knock him out. I want to build a winning streak.”

Fry celebrates his 21st birthday in November and all he wants for his birthday is a title fight.

He has a rematch with McNichol pencilled in after his clash with Spencer and said: “My manager Mickey Helliet says he’s going to keep me boxing regularly and hopefully I can be boxing for titles before the end of the year.”
