Albion ground out a 0-0 draw at Molineux on Saturday to end a five-game losing run.

The point moved Brighton three points clear of third-from-bottom Cardiff. Albion play their game in hand tomorrow at Tottenham, who have won all three games in their new stadium.

Hughton wants the Seagulls to match their performance at Wolves and said: "It sets a level we know we have to be at. We can show what we showed today. We didn’t have many chances, we could have been better offensively when we broke. We needed a bit more link off the front and if we had that we might have had a chance to get something. They are a very good side."

Hughton added Brighton are lacking confidence offensively at the moment and said: "We never set up for a draw (at Wolves), we know what we’d like to do but we’re a team who, offensively, is lacking a bit of confidence.

"When you look at Glenn (Murray), Solly (March), who hasn’t got the goals we’d like this season, Jose (Izquierdo) now back but been missing for most of the season, it’s hard to get that balance. If we came here in the form we’re in offensively and open up then it makes it a lot harder to get a result."
