Brighton star aims to create 'big memory' at Tottenham

The Seagulls will become the fourth team to play in Spurs' new stadium and Tottenham have so far won all three matches without conceding a goal.

Fourth-from-bottom Brighton need points to stay in the Premier League while Tottenham are still chasing a top-four finish.

Albion are yet to get a result on the road against a top six side but Ryan is relishing the challenge tonight and said: "The bigger the challenge, the bigger the memory when you're triumphant.

"I'm sure if we are able to get something from the game it's going to be one we'll remember for a long time, playing in a special stadium and a new one against a team like that.

"We'll go out there to do the best we can and to make the supporters proud of our performance."

Ryan hopes Brighton have turned momentum around after ending a five-game losing run with a draw at Wolves on Saturday. He said: "In my experience in the league you've got to take the opportunity to get momentum any way you can.

"We've been feeling the effects of negative momentum recently. We saw when we beat Huddersfield at home that we beat Palace the week after and then had a good win against Millwall.

"Now we're going to be looking to take advantage of what we created (at Wolves) and get the ball rolling again in a positive direction."
