Chicks hunted down by impressive Mullets

ARUNDEL Football Club will face a much tougher task in the FA Cup preliminary round after a comprehensive victory over Dorking on Saturday.

They now travel to Ryman League Division 1 South club, Croydon Athletic on September 2.

Mullets went ahead after just eight minutes on Saturday. Kane Evans' cross came off Dorking keeper Stuart Baverstock's chest and Marc Cooper beat Baverstock to the loose ball to score his first Arundel goal.

Although Dorking were enjoying possession, they never really threatened Mullets' goal and Arundel doubled their lead midway through the first half. Matt Huckett's corner was flicked on at the near post and Duncan Barnes fired home from close in.
