COWES END EP'S FA CUP DREAM

EAST PRESTON saw their FA Cup dreams slip away when the visitors from the Wessex League proved a tad to strong at a sun drenched Lashmar on Saturday.

Despite having some lengthy periods of possession, the home side could not find the cutting edge to break down the Yachtsmen's resolute defensive set up and restore the balance after going behind four minutes before half time.

During the first eight minutes, both James Bennett and Ryan Hudson forced Cowes keeper Gary Streeter into saves low down at his near post as EP started sharp and bright but once Sports found their feet, things started to even out.
