Henry was LBW for 26 in his first 1st XI match for the club. Another cameo from Sam Palser with 23 enabled Ansty to 100 but the innings closed on 105.

In reply Eagles seemed to have control of the match but lost two wickets with the score at 17.

Hamid Hassan (27) and skipper Reham (20) saw the visiting team to 72-2 but at that point Ansty’s bowlers fought back.

Eagles lost 7 wickets for just 24 runs and at 96-9 the match was in the balance. Ajum Suddahazai (16no) and Adil Mustafa (7no) managed to see Crawley Eagles past the winning post to secure the 30 points.
