Danielle shows promise

TALENTED young Crawley athlete, Danielle Christmas, has been enjoying a series of sporting challenges.

Dani, who belongs to Crawley Athletic Club, competed in an 800m race in Hengelo,The Netherlands, through the On Camp with Kelly programme supported by Norwich Union.

The race is part of the pre-meeting before the prestigious IAAF Grand Prix later the same day.

She also took part in the 1500 and 800m at the World Junior Championships.

Dani (19) has been involved in On Camp with Kelly since the first educational camp in Africa inm November 2004 and has participated in all OCWK activities since then, including the educational camp in Melbourne in March 2006.

SDhe recently returned to the UK from a six month training scholarship in the USA, where she was coached by Dame Kelly's former coach, Margot Jennings.
