6. Willie Gibson
Willie Gibson left Crawley on 24 August 2011, to sign for Perth club St Johnstone on a loan deal until the end of January 2012. He had been feeling homesick, as his two young children had remained in Scotland since his move down south. Gibson remained in Scotland and was player-manager at Queen of the South from February until December 2022 and is still playing at Annan Athletic. Photo: Alex Livesey
7. Dannie Bulman
On 2 April 2022, Bulman announced his retirement from professional football at the age of 43, after two spells with Crawley. His second spell involved a player coach role. Prior to retiring, Bulman was the oldest active player in the English Football League. Photo: Mike Hewitt
8. Josh Simpson
