Tickets went on sale this morning - find out how you can get your hands on them.
Tickets for Brighton and Hove Albion’s eagerly-awaited FA Cup Fourth Round match with Premier League Arsenal went on sale this morning (Friday).
The match against the current FA Cup holders could attract a record crowd to the Amex, toppling the current highest attendance of 30,003 for the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on May 4 2013.
It will almost certainly beat the 27,113 who saw Brighton run Arsenal close in the same competition back in January 2013.
The game takes place on Sunday, January 25, with a 4pm kick-off and tickets will cost from £32 to £42 for adults, £24 to £30 for 65 plus, £15 to £22 for under-18s and £5 to £12 for under-10s – standard Category A pricing for Albion home games.
The Albion’s 21,000 odd season ticket holders will get the chance to buy tickets to the game from 10am this morning online and then in person from the Amex ticket office or by calling 0844 327 1901 from 2pm.
Season ticket holders’ seats will be held until 9am on Tuesday, January 13. From 9am the following day Bronze members and Young Seagulls Plus members will be able to buy tickets online. From 2pm they can then buy in person or over the phone.
Any remaining tickets will then go on sale to supporters with a previous purchase history from 9am on Monday, January 19 online before being made available from the ticket office or phone from 2pm.
Season-ticket holders will then be given the opportunity to buy an additional two tickets per person from Tuesday, January 20 at 9am.
Brighton’s North London visitors have been given 15 per cent of the Amex capacity – around 4,500 tickets. They will be housed in two blocks of the Lower East Stand and the lion’s share of the South Stand up to an include block S1F. Any season ticket holders in the East Stand area taken by Arsenal will be offered alternative seats elsewhere at family area prices.
Anyone who misses out on tickets or who cannot make it to the Amex can watch the game live on BT Sport.
The television channel, sniffing a potential upset, has selected the Albion game for live coverage.
If the match finishes all-square the two teams will meet against at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium on February 4.
The Albion’s league match with Ipswich Town, which was due to take place on the Saturday, has been moved forward to Wednesday, January 21, with a 7.45pm kick-off at the Amex.
