Brighton boss Chris Hughton spoke to the press this morning ahead of tomorrow's derby clash with Crystal Palace. Here are the key points from the pre-match press conference.
A return to winning ways on Saturday
"It was important to get back to winning ways but it was also away from home where we've found it more difficult and also at a stadium we've found it difficult.
"We've lost there on both occasions last season and the season before and not played particularly well there. It was really important for us, particularly with where we are and tough games coming up. It was a welcome win."
"For as much as we know most of the answers, for a team like ourselves it's more difficult away from home. That's not rocket science, particularly for a team into their second season in the Premier League.
"It's a challenge for us and we of course want to do better at.
"Any way we can improve that, any strategies, any mental strategies or so, then they're always going to be welcome.
"But we know the biggest problem is it's tougher away."
Jurgen Klopp's celebration after Liverpool's winner against Everton
"It's the emotions of the game. Jurgen is a very emotional coach and these things happen for that exact reason.
"It's the last minute of a game and probably you've got to listen to what Jurgen has said afterwards, which was he almost had no control of what he did. That's the emotions of the game.
"Every coach and every manager is different in how they will react and do things."
Tomorrow's match with Crystal Palace
"It's a big game. As manager of this football club, I understand what this game means to the club and to the supporters, that's both sets of clubs and both sets of supporters.
"There's a nice feel going into the game, particularly as both teams won at the weekend.
"Generally they've been fairly close games, certainly in my time here and I expect it to be no different."
Matches with Palace last season - one win, one draw, one defeat
"It will have to be about level of performance, they are a very talented team and a very good side.
"If I look at the league table, they are in a position which shows how difficult this league is.
"As regards as what they have in the team and the ability, they are a very talented team, they have an excellent manager who knows how to get results and knows how to set up his team and they have match winners.
"Our level of performance will have to be good. We will have to try to take the emotion out of the game when we can but we are at home. We have to try to take advantage of home form, even though we're up against a team who have been good away from home this season."
"There's no injuries. Alireza (Jahanbakhsh) is training at the moment, it was his first day with the team yesterday, so as regards any inclusion not at this moment but it's good to see him back training."
Glenn Murray and striker rotation
"We have three number nines as such with Glenn the one who has played the majority of games.
"We have two other strikers who are pushing very hard. There are going to be opportunities for everybody to play particularly as we go into the season.
"We just felt with Florin (Andone), it was the right type of game for him on Saturday, particularly with how Huddersfield play. They are a pressing team, a very good team, and were on the back of a very good result.
"They press high and we felt we might be able to exploit that but we have three centre forwards who are all pushing very hard."
Chance to move into top ten this week
"It's very pleasing. You're always reliant on other results around you and we are still a club and a position that probably what is more important for us is below than above.
"The most important thing is still the gap between us and the bottom three.
"At this stage in our development as a club, that will always be the case."
