Chelsea, Fulham, Arsenal and Tottenham have the most expensive Premier League neighbourhoods

A new study has revealed properties within the postcode areas of Stamford Bridge and Craven Cottage take the top spot for most expensive Premier League neighbourhoods.

New research by football ticketing company, Ticketgum.com investigated the value of properties located within the postcodes of the major Premier League stadiums, extracting the data using Zoopla’s House Price tool.

The research was conducted by collating data based on the current average property value within each of the postcodes and comparing it to the average value of a property 12 months previous. The data for flats, detached, semi-detached and terraced properties within each postcode was also recorded and analysed.

The results place properties within the postcodes of Stamford Bridge (home to Chelsea) and Craven Cottage (home to Fulham) at the top of the table with the highest current average property value at £1,151,321. Both postcodes boast the highest change in property value over the past 12 months with a percentage increase of 2.36 per cent, which equates to £26,534.

Ranking second on the list of most expensive neighbourhoods, is the postcode district of N7 7AJ, home to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, with an average current property value of £573,684.

In third place is Tottenham Hotspur’s current home of Wembley Stadium, with the average property in HA9 0WS currently valued at £462,904.

The area around the London Stadium (West Ham) is fourth, with an average property price of £453,306.

The postcode area of the Amex Stadium, home to Brighton & Hove Albion (BNI 9BL) is the fifth most expensive Premier League neighbourhood, with a current average property value of £422,780. The Brighton postcode has seen a decrease of £4,085 over the last 12 months (-96 per cent).

Ticketgum.com broke down the data by property type in the area surrounding the Amex. The results reveal the following values: A detached property is valued on average at £696,874 (-1.25 per cent over the past 12 months), a semi-detached property is valued at £467,123 (-0.47 per cent), a terraced property is valued at £510,669 (+0.34 per cent) and a flat is valued at £280,005 (+3.88 per cent).

At the other end of the league table, the Premier League Stadium postcodes with the lowest average current property values include the following: Molineux Stadium (Wolverhampton Wanderers) with £131,079, Turf Moor Stadium (Burnley) with £117,166 and finally, both Anfield Stadium (Liverpool) and Goodison Park (Everton) with £82,714.
