The 24-year-old Portuguese midfielder has flourished this season, with four goals and three assists so far, which makes him an excellent choice if you’re looking for value for money.

Silva currently costs £7.2m on Fantasy Premier League, while Sky Sports price him at £9.3m.

With Manchester City hosting Crystal Palace this week, Silva’s creativity and goalscoring ability could be worth priceless points. He has accumulated 72 points on FPL and 73 on Sky Sports.

City have lost only once this season and their faultless home form would suggest they should comfortably win this encounter as well. Other Manchester City midfield options include Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling, however both cost considerably more.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The Armenian is beginning to flourish under Unai Emery and his his two goals were the high point in a disappointing 3-2 defeat at Southampton last time out.

Mkhitaryan has four goals and one assist to his name but has managed to earn a regular starting place in recent weeks.

He is priced at £9.7m on Sky Sports, while FPL players can sign him up for £6.7m.

Arsenal host Burnley this week. The Clarets have conceded just once in their past two league matches, so will Mkhitaryan will need to be on top form to unlock the Burnley defence.

Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang provide greater firepower but they cost considerably more than their Armenian team mate.

Andy Robertson

The Liverpool full-back is enjoying another fantastic season for Jurgen Klopp's side and is currently the second highest scoring defender for FPL players, with 94 points.

He has also earned 108 points on Sky Sports.

Robertson is a key component in a Liverpool defence which has conceded only seven league goals all season.

The Scotsman is currently priced at £6.5m for FPL players, while he costs £9m on Sky Sports.

He also provides an attacking outlet for the Reds and has contributed four assists this season.

Liverpool face a tough task this weekend as they travel to Molineaux on Friday night to face a rejuvenated Wolves side, who have taken points off Chelsea and Manchester City already this season.

Liverpool will need their left-back to be on top form and so will fantasy football players. Robertson’s value has also shot up in FPL this season, meaning players will want to cash in quickly.

Kepa Arrizabalaga

The Chelsea shot-stopper has proved to be a more than capable replacement for Thibaut Courtois this season.

He has kept eight clean sheets, which is the joint second highest in the league along with Manchester City’s Ederson. The Spaniard is a slightly cheaper option, costing £5.6m on FPL and £7.6m on Sky.

Kepa also ranks high in the points charts, having earned 72 in FPL and 88 in Sky.

Chelsea entertain Leicester City at Stamford Bridge this weekend, with the Foxes currently winless in three games.

Aside from the creativity of James Maddison and Jamie Vardy, the Foxes have found other goalscoring outlets hard to come by this season.

Chelsea fans will hope another clean sheet for Kepa is on the horizon.

Salomon Rondon

The Newcastle striker struggled at the start of the season, however he scored a crucial goal in their last away game at Huddersfield as Rafa Benitez’s men ran out 1-0 winners to move further clear of the drop zone.

Priced at only £5.8m and £9.8m on FPL and Sky Sports respectively, Rondon could provide crucial goal points at a minimal cost for a forward.

Rondon is the second highest points scorer in Newcastle's squad this season and he has recently found his scoring touch to boot.

Newcastle face a second crucial game in the space of a week, with fellow strugglers and bottom side Fulham travelling to St James’ Park this week.

Rondon will look to add to his Huddersfield goal with another vital contribution for his side, as they look to put distance between themselves and the bottom three.
