Brighton & Hove Albion’s player-of-the-season Shane Duffy says the Seagulls need to stick together in their quest to get a result at Arsenal on Sunday.

The Seagulls travel to the Emirates for their penultimate game of the season, knowing a win would mathematically secure safety.

Duffy was at the heart of the defence in an inspiring display the last time Albion were in north London last month in a crushing 1-0 defeat to Tottenham, so he will be hoping for a different outcome this weekend.

Speaking ahead of the Arsenal game, the Irishman said: “We've just got to stick together.

"It’s another big game, we can’t take our eye off the ball. We know it’s another huge game so until it’s mathematically done you have to keep pushing for the wins and the manager has stressed that already so we're straight on it and focused on Arsenal.

“Cardiff have to win both games and they’ve got two tough games but it’s never done until it’s done so you’ve got to keep focused and we’ve got a big one away at Arsenal now.”

Albion will hope to take advantage of Arsenal’s poor run of form which has seen them lose their last three Premier League games, including at home to Crystal Palace.
