Lowe will miss the game with the shoulder injury he sustained in Huddersfield's 1-1 draw against West Ham earlier this month.

In his pre-match press conference, Huddersfield boss David Wagner added defender Terence Kongolo and Laurent Depoitre are doubts, with a knock and groin problem respectively.

Mathias 'Zanka' Jorgensen is expected to come back into the Huddersfield starting line-up after missing last week's 2-0 win at Wolves through suspension.

Looking ahead to the match with Albion, Wagner said: “It’s a difficult task against Brighton but we are aware we have a big chance to get another result, especially with our supporters on our back.

“We have to be on our best and that’s what we have to do.

”I ask every Huddersfield supporter to be there, to give us support and to help us to give Brighton a real fight.”
