No goal target for Duffy but Brighton defender feels he can score in every game

The 6ft 3in defender failed to net last year but has already struck twice in the Premier League this season and had another couple of efforts disallowed.

The Irishman is always a threat from set-pieces for Albion but has not set himself a goal target.

He said: “I feel like I can score a lot and can score every game. That’s the aim. Obviously we’ll see where it ends up.

“I never really set a target. I wanted one first and I got it, then I got two. I’ve had a couple disallowed and a couple of chances, so it’s better for me this year than last year.

“Last year I had most of our chances from set-pieces but they’re just going on target this year. I feel like I’m a threat in there and can score every game.”
