The Foxes are set to rekindle their interest in Bournemouth's classy defender Nathan Ake and Burnley's James Tarkowski in the new year. City made an unsuccessful bid for Tarkowski in the summer.

Chelsea however could be prepared to scupper that. They want to buy back their former defender Nathan Ake. The Dutchman joined the Cherries for £20m from the Blues in 2017 but Chelsea scout Piet de Visser wants him back at the Bridge. “Ake should have played for Chelsea. He’s so good," de Visser said.
