Defender Shane Duffy says Brighton & Hove Albion will have determination and belief they can cause a huge shock by beating Manchester City on Sunday.

City will be crowned Premier League champions if they win the game and they've been marked as huge favourites to claim all three points, with Brighton 20/1 to win with some bookmakers.

If City fail to pick up all three points at the Amex, Liverpool will lift the title with victory at home to Wolves.

The pressure is off Albion with their Premier League safety already assured and Duffy says the Seagulls will go out confident they can get a result.

He said: “It’s been a tight (title) race and it's come down to the final game of the campaign.

“We know we’ll have to defend well again and try and be at our best – we’ll just try to win the game, if they beat us then they win the league and it’s as simple as that, so we’ll just go out there with a determination and belief that we can get a result.

“We know the occasion, but we have to focus on ourselves in the final game of the season in front of our home fans.”
